Spheres

The current body of works deals with the term spheres. This series of drawings depicts planets in various states of undoing. This “treatment” of spheres allows for exploring concepts such as entropy, movement, light diffusion, and dialectics of destruction and construction through various linear visual languages and methods of removal and subtraction.

As in geological reality, the drawing process also involves the accumulation of construction and destruction, tracing and erasing, all the time wondering how much undoing the form can take without being destroyed and how reconstruction processes will reinforce and change the object.

This series touches on existential anxieties, personal and global, along with hope for reaffirmation.
