The installation deals with “liminal zones”, both spatial and temporal, and processes of change as they are viewed from my backyard. Cyclical processes of change in nature as well as environmental change due to human activities. The installation includes two types of works: video works, documenting the meeting between nature and technology, and a large 3D drawing of an imagined mind map.

By using video shooting and photography I explore and document the lunar phases, migration of birds, and the landing path of airplanes that cross my backyard, in which the “green line” passes through. The moon represents the consistent, cyclical and comforting course of predictable change, and it stands in contrast to the instability of an unpredictable environment caused by human interventions.
