Traces<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This multidisciplinary installation emerges from a personal inquiry into the possibility of reconnecting with a deceased person by understanding absence as an ongoing condition experienced through place, memory, and object, rather than as something final.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The work unfolds through three interconnected layers. The first is the house, understood as a space that holds the traces of everyday life alongside the weight of loss, becoming a vessel for both presence and absence. The second layer centers on the act of lifting carpets during mourning days.\u00a0 This temporary gesture reveals the fragility of the space after loss, leaving the tiles bare and cold, while exposing a paradox between what can be restored and what remains impossible to recover. The third layer examines dates as a symbolic element within mourning rituals, extending beyond the simple meaning of offered food to their role as carriers of identity, memory, and the event itself.
