Parchment a dead yet living material, A discarded cloak of the being it once encased. Its wrinkles and scars echo its story, Testaments to time and forces acted upon it. Between personal and collective memory, The entwining of body and language, Of matter and spirit.I wind, stretch, and connect images and raw material. I Invoke the sacred and the profane, Of Identity and belonging. sifting through words to discern, to extract the essence of what it means to be human. I touch its pain, struggle against its forgetting, and fall silent before its testimony to everything that has happened, to everything that is happening. I am searching for the place where matter continues to remember, and for the moment when language becomes a living body
